The
Edit Controller page allows you to make changes to VertX and EVO
names and settings for hardware in your system. These pages can be
accessed by clicking on the hardware from the Status Command Page.
On
this page, you will see tabs with settings and information about the
HID VertX Controller you have selected along with the History tab
which ties into the transaction and system audit.
The
following are the different types of VertX/EVO hardware that can be
used in PERSONA Campus Online: V1000, V2000, Edge, V100, V200, and
V300. Each hardware type’s
profile in the system might look slightly different but the concepts
between all VertX/EVO hardware are the same.
- Location: Name
assigned to the hardware
- Hardware Type:
Description of what type of hardware is installed
- Door Behavior: If
displayed this will determine if the hardware readers are set up
as ‘Card In/Free out’ or ‘Card In/Card Out
Settings
- Tamper, AC
Power Fail & Battery Fail: Inputs on the controller
that can be used to monitor the controller’s physical environment
and power status when wired to external sources.
- Encryption: Setting to enable encryption
AES encryption between PCO and the controller.
- Time Zone:
Time zone setting the controller is set to follow.

Details
- MAC Address:
Physical MAC Address of the controller
- Firmware Version:
Controller firmware version currently running
- Hardware Server:
Name of the server the controller is communicating to
- ControllerUID: ID
of the controller in the PCO database
- Program Data:
Internal HID program Data
- IP Address:
Controllers last known IP address
- Host Name:
Internal name entered the hardware upon configuration
- Internal ID:
Internal ID value to the controller

History
- Events: Will show
events from the selected hardware in the order they occurred. You cannot sort, search, or
export from the history tab.
- Commands: see an
audit of commands that have been sent to the locks. Ex: Lock,
Unlock, Refresh Credentials, etc…
- Changes to
Device: An audit of changes that have been made to the controller
and any of its settings.
