Card Sets

Card Set:  The definition of a group of cards.  This definition contains the card format and facility code (if used).

It is essential to select the correct card set that matches the cards being loaded. A card set provides instructions to the VertX access control panels and the AHG Locksets about how to read the data on the card.

If the card set you need is not listed, and you know the details of the card format, then the PERSONA Campus Online application allows you to build your own card set for system-wide use. Once configured, the card sets are listed in the “Online Card Set” drop-down list box on the New Card screen.

The configuration options for the Card Set screen will vary depending on what type of Card Set you intend to create. PERSONA allows for a quick configuration of standard 26 bit and 37 bit Card Sets with facility code. However, PERSONA also supports the use of many custom Card Sets. Please consult with PERSONA Technical Support for assistance.

Card Sets page will list all card sets in the partition.

To add a new card set, click Create New.  This will take you to the Edit card set page.  From here you can enter the necessary details for your card set including Format and Facility Code for any standard 26bit or 37bit credential.  If you have a custom credential you will need to upload the new format prior to creating your card set.  Please refer to the Format section of the help documentation.
