Format:  A file (.eff or .vff) that defines the bit structure of a card type. This definition usually includes total bit length, parity bit(s) position, definition, facility code bits (if any), and encoded ID bits.

 

For any custom credential formats, you can upload the custom card file on the Formats page by clicking the “Create New” link.

 

 

On the Create Format page, you can browse to the custom credential format file by clicking “Select” and browsing to the file’s location on your computer. The Name field will populate with the nave of the .vff file. For assistance with creating new card formats, we encourage you to reach out to Persona Technical Support.
