Users



User: Any account that can log into the PERSONA Campus Online application. The Users page will show all accounts that have rights in the current partition.

Click on “New User” to add a new account or click on any User’s name to modify that record.

 

Users 2

When creating new users, a valid email address, first name, last name, and a strong password are required. The password rules are as follows:
  • At least 8 characters long
  • Contain letter and number, including at least one upper-case and one lower case letter.
  • Contain at least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Select the “Require Password Change At Login” to force the user to change their password the next time they login to the Persona Campus Online software.


The email and mobile number fields are used in the configuration of Alarm Alerts. See the Define Alarms section for more details on alarms.


The Roles tab is used to assign the User particular permissions set called a “Role” See the “Roles” section for more information. It is possible for a System User to be assigned more than one role. If more than one role is applied to a User then that User has the combined privileges of all the roles assigned to.

Assign role(s) to the user by click on the "Roles" tab. If a user is created without a role assignment, they will be allowed to log into PERSONA Campus Online but will not have permission to view or do anything else.

A valid mobile number and provider must be assigned to the user if the user is to receive text message alarm notifications.
