Contact Schedules



Contact Schedule: A schedule that defines when an IP Lockset will communicate with PERSONA Campus Online.


Contact schedules are used to define when a lockset will communicate with the access control system to retrieve updates and report event logs.  New contact schedules can be created by clicking on the “Create New” hyperlink and existing contact schedules can be edited by clicking on the contact schedule name in the description field.

Comm User Only: The lockset does not come online automatically. It will only communicate on alarms or with a communication user (card, pin, or card+pin).

Connection is Always On: This contact schedule is used in hard powered lockset. There are no configurable parameters; the lockset is always connected. It will send and receive data in real-time.

Day(s) of Month: The lockset will communicate with the server up to four (4) times per day at one-minute increments. The user may select any number of dates from 1 – 31 on which to activate the schedule.

Day(s) of Week: The lockset will communicate with the server up to four (4) times per day at one-minute increments. The user may select any days Sunday - Saturday on which to activate the schedule.

Seconds on / Minutes off: The radio will remain off for the “Sleep Period (minutes).” The lockset will then come online and communicate with the server until complete, or until the “Timeout” elapses.
