Door Groups: A collection of door(s). Door Groups are combined with schedules in the creation of access levels.
Door Groups provide a convenient method of managing large systems. Any number of Door Groups can be created, containing any number of doors. Additionally, any given door can be in more than one door group. Once grouped, these doors will be tied to schedules to create Access Levels.
From this page, you can do one of three
things:
To delete a Door Group, click the red delete button.
To view a Door Group, you simply click the Door Group Name. This will show you the door(s) in that particular Door Group.
To create a new Door Group, simply click the “Create New” link at the top left. The “Create New Door Group” and the “Edit Door group” look the same.
You can give the Door Group a Name and a description if you wish.
You can add more Door Groups by clicking the blue “Add” button. This will open a pop up that lists all your Door Groups. You can search for the name of the Door Group by using the search function.
The blue Command button gives the ability to either lock or unlock all doors contained within a door group. Once the "Command" button is clicked, the below pop up will show giving the operator the ability to either unlock or lock all the doors within that door group.

After issuing a command (lock/unlock), all doors will stay in the recently commanded state until either a schedule commands it otherwise or another manual command is issued. Rebooting the controller(s) will put the door(s) in their normal, default state. |
